In our previous edition of backyard coaster articles, we featured John Ivers’ backyard coaster, but John isn’t the only person to make his own roller coaster. The Oklahoma Land Run is a homemade woodie and is the creation of Jeremy Reid.
The ride is an out and back style wooden coaster, with a first drop of 20 feet and a banked curve measuring 50 degrees. The coaster cost a total of $5,500, that’s about £2,800 at the time of writing this.
I could talk all day long about Jeremy’s coaster as it looks fantastic but instead, I will send you over to his website where you will find photos, videos and more statistics about the ride.
