Flamingo Land: Run by monkeys?

Yorkshire’s self proclaimed number one theme park, Flamingo Land has been renovationg itself over the past few years and bringing about brand new rides. It has often been talked about as the fastest improving park in the UK.
This season however, all faith has been lost. The newest attraction, ambiguously named Flip Flop was to be the park’s signature flat ride and also the best themed in the whole park. At first, things were looking good. The ride was being constructed over a newly built lake to compliment the Splosh area. Bright and colourful, it looked like it was going to be a promising flat ride.
As the hype started on the day the ride was due to open, one would have thought this would be a great day for the park, right? Wrong! Dismayed visitors learned that the ride had been given a height restriction, but not like you’d expect – for this ride, you must be over a certain height but less than six feet tall! Obviously a mistake had been made somewhere, but who was at fault?
One would expect the park to come clean and announce why they had this strange requirement. It would have been courteous to offer the disappointed visitors a free day pass for another time or even a discount off of their next visit, but true to Flamingo Land form, they offered nothing! The park proceeded to handle the problem by telling all of their staff to keep things on the hush.
So maybe they wanted to hide their secret mistakes to avoid looking stupid? The problem is, skeletons can’t stay in the closet forever, and it turns out the reason for the height restriction was because one of the fences had been built too high. This would have caused any riders over six feet tall to have their legs clipped on the way by. For a theme park that is meant to be safety conscious, how can something this simple happen?
It doesn’t end here though - the park is supposedly looking into ways to solve the problem. Am I alone in thinking this seems a little strange? Don’t get me wrong, I am no construction expert but surely to solve the problem of a fence being too high, lowering the fence would be a good place to start?
At the time of writing this post, the problem hasn’t been solved so I ask, along with a few of you I expect, is the park run by the monkeys we see swinging from the branches in the zoo?

The management are as dumb as the staff they employ.
You couldn’t make this up.

Flamingoland had pretty low expectations from me this year anyway, this completely takes the Digestive. I may or may not complain to management as the average male is over 6 foot tall ffs, this is ridiculous

Yeah but Nathan, the average height is only 5 foot 9 so you are wrong. Anyway Velocity has a height limit and people just have to cope with it. So jog on.

Erm, think you may need to read on. I said nothing about height limits, so how can I be wrong? I think you will find it was Max Power who commented on the average height of a person.
And Velocity has a girth restriction, as do most rides nowadays.
A maximum height restriction for a thrill ride of 6ft is ludicrous. It’s common sense that you shouldn’t deny people the chance to ride Flip Flop when you built it for them in the first place.
Jog on.

Ok Nathan but you said that you had low expectations for flamingo land and they have added the best ride in the country its better than anything lwv could ever buy oh wait they cant aford anything you need to think about expectations compared to lwv which makes flamingo look like bush gardens.

Find me anywhere in this sentence where I mentioned low expectations.
“The management are as dumb as the staff they employ.

It wouldn’t surprise me if you worked for Flamingo Land as it is evident you cannot read.
And where have they added the best ride in the country? Good god, you are deluded.
What Lightwater Valley has got to do with anything I don’t know.
Just seems like you’re a very bitter person.
